Crisis support

Synergy Psychotherapy is a psychotherapy provider offering appointment-booked, structured input, intended to be accessed no more often than once weekly. Synergy Psychotherapy is not a crisis service and is not open or available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you are in crisis (an emergency that poses a direct and immediate threat to your physical or emotional wellbeing. This includes being at risk of acting on suicidal thoughts or thoughts of harming yourself to cope; being at risk of harm from those known to you or being at risk of acting on thoughts to intentionally harm others yourself) please consider accessing crisis services (details below) which are set up to respond to risk, including being open 24/7.
Additionally, a mental health crisis can be a quick deterioration in your emotional wellbeing for which you may benefit from professional guidance and/or support, e.g.:
-
New, rapid mood changes
-
Feeling out of control
-
Feeling unable to cope
-
Changes in the way you think, possibly with unusual ideas
-
Hearing voices, or seeing things that others can’t
Click on your area below for district-specific crisis support providers. You do not need to have accessed any mental health services previously to make use of crisis support and there are no other exclusion criteria e.g. age (with the exception of the West Yorkshire 24 hour support line which is accessible to people aged over 18. However, anyone who calls who is under 18 will be signposted to relevant services.). Crisis services can be contacted directly for yourself or if you are a friend, carer or family member with concerns about someone else’s wellbeing.
